Japan Earthquake and Tsunami- It was the most disastrous coastal natural disaster. Even though it has been just over a year, the effects from the disaster are still very severe and people are still in need for help. People from other countries do not realize that the earthquake and tsunami do not only affect peoples' lives for that instance; people are still being affected and are in need of things like reconstruction help, food, water, etc, but it is suggested to not help alone, it is suggested that people join a charity/ organization group and work through the group.
Famine and Drought in East Africa- Children are at risk of starvation. Food prices in the area are up 200% so people cannot afford to get a lot of food, so people cannot get the amount of food they need. Children as well as adults are in need of everything. It is a rising crisis, but there are still many people who would want to help, but they do not know about the crisis yet.
